A woman died due to negligence at Al-Thawra Hospital in Taiz (document)

A female citizen died due to medical negligence in Al-Thawra Hospital in Taiz, less than two weeks after a psychiatric patient died in the hospital emergency room as a result of the medical staff’s refusal to receive him.
Informed sources said that the citizen, Amal Muhammad Naji Al-Sarari, wife of citizen Ziad Ali Sultan Ghaleb, and mother of two children from Al-Sarari village, Sabr Al-Mawadim District, died this afternoon, Wednesday, in Al-Thawra Hospital in the city of Taiz as a result of medical negligence.
She added that the citizen was admitted to Al-Thawra Hospital yesterday to undergo surgery to correct the nose, which was performed on her by Dr. Mansour Ismail Al-Khulaifi, as she was suffering from a deviated nose.
The sources explained that the victim had been in a coma since yesterday until she died this afternoon, Wednesday.
According to a complaint submitted by the family of the citizen, Amal Al-Sarari, to the Chief Prosecutor of Taiz, in which she demanded that the forensic doctor request an autopsy of the deceased’s body, as she had been admitted to the hospital for a nasal surgery and was discharged dead due to the hospital’s negligence.
