The Southern Teachers and Educators Union in Mansoura District strongly denounced the kidnapping of professor and resident trainer Hamid Ghaleb Farhan from Barbaa High School, who was kidnapped by gunmen wearing military uniforms on the evening of Friday, March 29, 2024.

The union called on the Aden Governorate Security Command to investigate the kidnapping and determine the identity of Mr. Hamid’s kidnappers and to return him to his family safe and sound.

I also appealed to the Director General of Mansoura Directorate and the Commander of Mansoura Police to do their utmost to free him from the grip of his kidnappers.

The union called on human rights organizations to work with it to release the kidnapped person.

The union confirmed that it will not hesitate to search and investigate to find the kidnappers of Professor Hamid.

The family of Professor Hamid Ghaleb Farhan was informed by gunmen wearing military uniforms on the evening of Friday, March 29, 2024, that he had been kidnapped by gunmen riding in a white Nissan vehicle to complete their operation, and no news has been received about Professor Hamid since his kidnapping.
