Taiz police continue to rebel against the judiciary and continue to hide the director of the expatriate post, refusing to comply with the directives ordering his immediate release or referring him to the prosecution if there is a criminal incident against him.

 The disappearance of Abdel Baset Qasim Al-Sharaabi, Director of the Expatriates Post Office, enters its second week in a row without legal justification.

 The disappearance of Al-Sharabi is taking place against the backdrop of his exposure of a money laundering and embezzlement of public funds in the Taiz Postal Authority branch, which amounted to about half a billion riyals, according to sources.

 The director of the Taiz Postal Branch, affiliated with the legitimate government, was involved in it.

 It was recently decided to refer him to the prosecution to investigate incidents of embezzlement of postal funds collected in exchange for previous services, amounting alone to 246,500,000 two hundred and forty-six million five hundred thousand riyals.

 I entered into a money laundering operation through an exchange company in Sanaa years ago and it is still ongoing.

Through a check that is likely to be fake, the amount was embezzled through the branch of the Central Bank in Taiz by the person assigned to the prosecution, Khaled Al-Rimi. The reports confirm the role of the expatriate post director, Abdul Basit Qasim Al-Sharabi, in uncovering the operation and exposing its details to the regulatory and legal authorities and bringing it to the judiciary, in order to preserve public money and the economy. In the areas of legitimacy, the Taiz police, instead of arresting those involved in embezzlement and money laundering, rewarded Al-Sharabi with detention and then disappearance for the second week in a row.

Observers were surprised by the behavior of the Taiz police, which proves that it is always in the service of an agenda that has always worked against legitimacy.
