In a new crime added to its record of crimes, the terrorist Houthi militia disturbed the joy of Eid al-Fitr in the Ma’rib Governorate, as it launched a ballistic missile at dawn today, which landed in the Al-Khashaa area, east of the Al-Khasif area in Wadi Ubaida, in the Yemeni Ma’rib Governorate.

The Houthi militia launched a ballistic missile from its areas of control in Sanaa in an attempt to target sites in Marib, but it exploded in the sky during the early hours of the morning of Eid al-Fitr, causing its fragments to fall in a not densely populated area.

The explosion caused a violent sound that shook throughout the region, spreading fear and panic in the hearts of citizens, especially children and women.

There were no reports of civilian casualties, but the explosion caused psychological damage among residents and spoiled their joy on Eid, according to what activists shared on social media.

This crime comes in the context of the Houthi militia’s continued targeting of civilians throughout Yemen, without regard to the sanctity of the holy month of Ramadan or Eid al-Fitr.

Through these crimes, the militia aims to spoil the joy of Yemeni citizens and spread fear and terror in their hearts.
