In a brief statement that he published on his page before stopping, “Anis” explained that the campaign included distorting his post about an error in the words of the artist Muhammad Saad Abdullah on the Aden Independent Channel, and turning it into a major conspiracy targeting the South and its cause, which he has always strongly defended.

Anis expressed his regret at the “amount of accusations and lies” included in the misleading posts, confirming his knowledge of the identity of some of those behind them, describing them as “those who show false friendliness when meeting, while resorting to defamation behind the scenes.”

Expressing his inability to write at the present time, saying: “If the purpose is to silence me, then I will remain silent.”

Anis concluded his statement by saying: “God is sufficient for me and He is the best disposer of affairs,” stressing his confidence in God’s just judgment.
