A child died as a result of a drowning accident in a swimming pool in Sira, Aden

The temporary capital, Aden, was shocked yesterday by the death of a child, in an unfortunate accident he suffered while spending the Eid holiday in one of the city’s swimming pools.
He was buried in the ground, amid conflicting accounts between eyewitnesses and the pool management.
An eyewitness narrated that while the child was swimming in the pool of a resort in the Sira District without anyone’s supervision, he suddenly suffered from suffocation resulting from swallowing an amount of water.
Social media sites were abuzz with the unfortunate news, amid overwhelming dissatisfaction with the extent of neglect and corruption that matters have reached in Aden. Activists also expressed their deep sadness "for the loss of a child as young as a rose, and an angel who was deprived of his family unawares. He will be missed by his schoolmates and colleagues.
