A 27-year-old person died in a hand grenade explosion that occurred in the Khor Maksar district of the capital, Aden.

According to the Metropolitan Police, the unfortunate incident occurred while the deceased was trying to buy a hand grenade from two unknown people on a Voxy minibus. The victim took it to inspect it outside the bus, and it exploded, leading to his immediate death and the bus being subjected to various damages.

Noting that it arrested a 30-year-old person who was with the deceased during the incident and deposited the deceased’s body in the refrigerator of the Republican Hospital, while search, investigation and follow-up procedures are still underway to arrest two accused who are the owners of the bomb that they were trying to sell to the deceased.
