Aden.. Houthi security companies control international organizations.. Where is southern security?

Photojournalist Saleh Al-Obaidi reported in a post on his Facebook page that he was surprised, during a closed session with media professionals and representatives of international organizations, that there was direct communication between the organizations’ coordinators and the leadership of the security companies in Sana’a.
Al-Obaidi explained that all security companies that control the protection of international organizations in Aden are subject to the control of Sanaa and are managed by the Houthi group.
He added that one of the security supervisors in an organization's office speaks and belongs to the Houthi group, questioning the validity of the control of security companies affiliated with the Sana'a group over the organizations' offices in Aden, while the tasks of southern security companies are limited to guarding hotels, tours, and restaurants.
He continued: “Where is the role of southern security in all of this? Is the security of organizations in Aden dependent on Sana’a as well? Why are there no southern companies in Aden to secure these organizations?”
This information raised the concern of many southern media professionals and activists, who demanded an end to the control of northern security companies over international organizations in Aden, and the strengthening of the role of southern companies in this field.
It is noteworthy that the Houthi group’s control over security companies in Aden raises fears that these companies will be exploited to monitor the activities of international organizations and collect information about them, which poses a threat to the work of these organizations in Yemen.
