The Cleaning Fund carries out a campaign to remove slums and qat chewing places in the Abyan Coast Corniche

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of State and Governor of Aden Governorate, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, and under the direct supervision of the Director General of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund, Engineer Qaid Rashid Anam.
Today, the Cleaning and Improvement Fund carried out a campaign to remove slums on the Abyan coast, with the participation of sacks and large dumpers, with the assistance of the security authorities in Khor Maksar District.
Engineer / Qaid Rashid Anam explained that the campaign that the Fund is implementing today in cooperation and coordination with the local authority in the Khor Maksar District aims to remove slums within a distance of two kilometers on the Abyan Coast Corniche, which is the largest and most important corniche that characterizes the city of Aden, and to remove buildings and sites. The randomness that distorted the beauty of the Corniche and obstructed the movement of people, families, and coastal visitors, after those slums turned into places for sleeping and chewing qat.
The campaign also aims to create openings or gates for sweepers, prevent private cars from entering the coast and harass visitors and families. Those who go to the coasts to spend their free time in recreation, enjoyment and recreation..
Engineer Qaid Rashid Anam confirmed that the leadership of the Fund, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency the Minister of State and Governor of Aden Governorate, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, is keen on preserving the coasts and corniches and will work in cooperation with the local authorities to protect the coasts and corniches from slums that distort the general view.< /p>
