The Houthi group in Yemen vowed today (Thursday) to respond to the American raids on the capital, Sanaa, and Saada Governorate, hours after intense American raids on the group’s targets, while the American army said it carried out multiple strikes on underground weapons facilities belonging to the Houthis in Yemen.
The Houthi political office stated, in a press statement carried by the group’s media, that “the American aggression against the capital, Sana’a, and Saada governorate will not go unanswered.”
The statement explained that “America launched a new aggression against Yemen, targeting with a series of raids the capital, Sana’a, and Saada Governorate,” stressing that “the American raids are considered a cowardly aggression against Yemen, a blatant violation of Yemeni sovereignty, and a blatant violation of all international laws, customs, and conventions.”
He said, "The American aggression against Yemen comes in the context of the Israeli and American escalation against Palestine, Lebanon, and Yemen, which comes within the framework of the comprehensive targeting of the nation, its sanctities, and its just causes, foremost of which is the Palestinian issue."
The Houthi political office indicated that "the American aggressive raids will not discourage Yemen from continuing its support and support for Gaza and Lebanon in the face of American-backed Israeli arrogance."
The Houthi group announced earlier today that the American-British aircraft launched a new aggression today at dawn on the capital, Sanaa, with 6 raids and on Saada Governorate with 9 raids.
For its part, the US military said it carried out multiple strikes on underground weapons facilities belonging to the Houthis in Yemen.
A statement by the US Central Command on the (X) platform said that it carried out multiple and precise air strikes on several weapons storage facilities belonging to the Houthis, and within the areas controlled by the Houthis in Yemen, which contain various advanced conventional weapons used to target military and civilian ships.
