The scandal of storming the General Secretariat of the Prime Minister's Office came to light, as the Secretariat witnessed a battle of shameful clashes and altercations between Anis Baharitha, Director of the Prime Minister's Office, and Mutee Dammaj, Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office. This came after Dammaj submitted an “urgent report” to Ahmed bin Mubarak, the Prime Minister, demanding an investigation and appropriate measures to be taken regarding the chaos caused by Baharitha.
The incident came against the backdrop of a secretariat meeting to investigate “the disappearance of checks from the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department of the Prime Minister.”
Dammaj Baharitha was accused of kidnapping employees of the Financial Department and transporting them in a car outside the General Secretariat building, in an act he considered “serious legal violations of work regulations and bullying of employees” under the pretext of directives from the Prime Minister.
This incident highlights arrogant behavior and shameful financial disputes within the prime minister’s office, which raises concerns about Ben Mubarak’s continued position as prime minister, who may face the risks of administrative failure and catastrophic economic collapse.
