The head of the Youth Authority in the Southern Transitional Council, Engineer Nizar Haitham, confirmed that members of the First Military Region are implementing directives issued by the Houthi group, which makes them a source of threat to the security and stability of the Wadi Hadhramaut region.

Haitham pointed out that the incident of the assassination of Arab coalition soldiers was the result of an ongoing incitement campaign against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by Houthi elements cooperating in suspicious coordination with leaders from the Islah Party in the region.

Haitham added that this coordination aims to destabilize the Hadhramaut Valley and spread fear among its residents, calling for taking firm measures to protect the region from any attempts that may lead to a deterioration of the security situation and threaten its stability.

In a related context, multiple military sources confirmed that the search for the killer of the coalition officers is still ongoing, and a suspect has been arrested in connection with the killer. The sources indicated that search efforts are taking place at a high pace.

On the other hand, the Assistant Executive Board of the Southern Transitional Council for the Affairs of the Wadi and Desert Directorates of Hadhramaut extended its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its king, government and people, and to the families of the heroic soldiers who were martyred as a result of this heinous attack inside the First Military District in the city of Sayun.

The Auxiliary Executive Board condemned in the strongest terms this treacherous criminal act that targeted soldiers from the sister Saudi forces within the duty forces of the Arab Coalition in the first military zone in the city of Sayun.

The Commission confirmed that this painful incident comes as a result of military policies that exploit the valley and its people to serve agendas that do not serve security and stability in the region. She stressed that the security and stability of the Hadhramaut Valley and Desert will not be achieved unless the security and military file is handed over to the people of Hadhramaut themselves, as they are the most worthy and capable of protecting their land and achieving security and peace in it.
