An American institute warned of the dangers of neglecting the Red Sea and the Horn of Africa and leaving it hostage to the security instability resulting from Houthi attacks on shipping.
In its analysis, the American Middle East Institute called for a forward-looking international approach to resolving the Yemen problem that would put an end to the crisis of Houthi threats to international trade.
The American analysis made it clear that the Houthis have transformed from a local issue into a global problem that has paralyzed one of the most important maritime routes in the world, which requires developing long-term solutions to eliminate their threats once and for all.
This comes as the Zionist entity called for launching a major attack directly on Iran in response to the Houthi attacks on Israel.
The head of the Israeli Mossad, David Barnea, demanded that he beheaded. In reference to Iran, he explained that simply attacking the Houthis does not mean the end of the danger, and it is possible that their attacks will not stop.
The Israeli official explained that his country is waiting for US President Trump to officially assume his duties to determine how it will deal with Iran.
Occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had said that Israel would continue to move against the Houthis in Yemen, and accused them of threatening global navigation and international law.
In a related context, an Israeli military expert said that their attacks on the Houthis in Yemen would be useless.
Lieutenant Colonel Eyal Finko, a national security expert, explained in press statements that the members of the Houthi group number tens of thousands; Therefore, “Israeli attacks against the Houthis do not really harm them.”
The military expert believes that the attack on the Houthis will only be useful if it is through an alliance that includes the United States and “moderate” Arab countries, as he describes it, in addition to “cutting off Iranian supply lines to the Houthi group.”
