The Houthi group said that it carried out two military operations against what it described as two vital targets of the Israeli entity in the Umm al-Rashrash area in southern occupied Palestine.
This came in a statement broadcast by the group’s military spokesman, Yahya Saree, this evening, viewed by the Yemeni scene, the second in hours, in which he said, “The two operations were carried out with a Zulfiqar ballistic missile and a winged missile.”
Sarie added, as is his custom in all statements, that the two operations “successfully achieved their goals,” noting that they are within the framework of the fifth phase of operations carried out by his group for what it says is support for the besieged Gaza Strip.
Earlier this evening, the Israeli occupation army announced that warning sirens had been detected and sounded in areas south of the occupied Palestinian territories "Israel", including Beit Ora and the northern city of Eilat, following the detection of a missile launched from Yemeni territory.
>Israeli military sources confirmed that the missile was successfully intercepted before it penetrated Israeli airspace.
The Israeli Home Front confirmed that sirens were heard in Beit Ora, north of Eilat, which sparked a state of panic among local residents. Eyewitnesses reported hearing the sounds of explosions in the Eilat region, which is located on the Red Sea in the south of the country.
Israeli media reported that strong explosions were heard in the Eilat area, which reinforces the Israeli army's assertions about intercepting the missile. There were no reports of injuries or material damage.
This comes after a previous announcement by the occupation army that it intercepted a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis from Yemen this morning, and it was intercepted outside “Israeli airspace.”
The Houthi group announced that it had carried out what it described as a specific military operation, targeting the headquarters of the Israeli occupation Ministry of Defense in Tel Aviv, “occupied Jaffa.”
She said in a statement broadcast by the group’s military spokesman, Yahya Saree, this afternoon, that the operation was carried out with a “Zulfiqar” ballistic missile and targeted the headquarters of the Israeli Ministry of Defense.
She added - as usual - that the missile “reached its target with high accuracy and the interception systems failed to confront it.”
She continued: “We renew our support for the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, and we coordinate with it to deal appropriately militarily with any violations or military escalation committed by the enemy during the period of implementation of the agreement.”
