A member of the Al-Qalaa family, which was affected by a fire, criticized the lack of seriousness of the local authority and the Transitional Relief Authority, a month after they came to the house and filmed without providing any support.
A post on the social networking site “Facebook” by a family member named Munir Abu Muhammad stated: “A month has passed since the fire accident at my father’s house in Al-Qalaa.
He added: We appeal to President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, President of the Transitional Council, and the Governor of Aden Governorate, Ahmed Lamlas, to consider the report of the Sheriff of Al-Tawahi District, Judge Jawad Al-Shuaibi, and the Transitional Council Relief Committee regarding the Al-Qala’a fire, which claimed the lives of two members of the family. The entire house was destroyed with its tools, and we have not seen it for a month. I do not intend to make any repairs, but we trust you to repair and restore my father’s house to restore life to my family. We hope for your efforts and the fulfillment of your patriotic duty to save a family from loss and restore life to it in a dignified manner.”
Abu Muhammad added that the family is living in difficult circumstances after the fire, as it lost two of its members, and its house became completely destroyed, and it did not receive any support from the concerned authorities.
Abu Muhammad called on the local authority and the Transitional Relief Authority to intervene urgently to help the family and restore their home, so that they can return to their normal lives.
