Al -Shaabi calls on the public prosecutor to refer the file of government account corruption to the judiciary

The head of the National Movement for Correction and Building, in the name of Fadl al -Shaabi, said that the National Supreme Authority for Anti -Corruption submitted a file last weekend that contains many documents based on a transparent investigation it made for about two months, for the public prosecutor’s office of the Republic, Judge Qaher Mustafa. /P>
Al -Shaabi explained in statements to the media, that the national trend for correction and construction filed on November 19 last year, a complaint with the Attorney General on the financial accounts of government institutions and bodies in exchange companies and private banks, which are deposited away from the Central Bank of Yemen in the capital, Aden, Away from the supervision of the Ministry of Finance, noting that the complaint was accompanied by a file containing many documents that reveal the volume of corruption and manipulation of public money, in the shadow of a country that collapses economically, and a people living without salaries and general services necessary.
Indicating that the Public Prosecutor, Judge Qaher Mustafa, referred the complaint directly the next day to the Supreme National Anti -Corruption Commission, which in turn took the process of investigating the issue of complaining about communication and coordination with the relevant authorities and completely secret.
Al -Shaabi revealed that the investigation reached the knowledge of the names of government institutions, bodies and facilities, in the capital, Aden and the liberated cities, as well as the local authorities in the governorates, which supply the state’s revenues to special accounts in banks and unofficial exchange companies, in the form of a violation of the law, and indicate the size of Corruption and manipulation of public money, at a time when the state's central bank is unable to spend the salaries of citizens, including employees, retirees, and others for many months.
The Public Prosecutor calls for referring the file submitted by the Anti -Corruption Commission to the competent prosecutors and courts, and that the officials involved in these cases be prosecuted, the issuance of reservation orders against them, and prevent them from traveling outside the country.
Mouvid that the National Movement for Correction and Building will continue to follow up on the issue until the corrupt is held accountable, government accounts are closed in cashiers and private banks, and to redirect government revenues to the Central Bank in the capital, Aden, and investigate the fate of the looted funds and how to recover them.
