Yemen .. The government discusses the repercussions of the Houthi classification and a decrease in aid

Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak held today, Sunday, in the capital, Aden, a government meeting to discuss the challenges of decline in international financing in a number of sectors, and the steps to be taken to deal with that in coordination with Yemen partners from countries and donor organizations.
The meeting touched on the measures necessary to take in all sectors to deal with the Houthi classification as a terrorist group, and the plans prepared from the ministries and government agencies concerned to spare Yemeni citizens any negative repercussions due to that classification and ensuring the flow of relief aid without any obstacles to various parts of the country.
The concerned officials gave surroundings about the financing situation of a number of sectors benefiting from external support, forecasts of financing decline, and the existing coordination with partners and the Qatari United Nations team in Yemen, to re -specialize in accordance with urgent priorities and mechanisms for covering the financing gap.
The Prime Minister directed to work in a more effective and coordinated way between government agencies, partners and United Nations organizations to reschedule priorities and respond to the actual need on the ground, stressing the importance of working in an integral way to overcome the challenges and current exceptional circumstances at the national, regional and international levels.
