The Hadramout Tribe Alliance condemns the practices of the local authority and warns against targeting activists and the leaders loyal to it

The Hadramout Tribes alliance expressed his strong condemnation of what he described as "malicious reprisals" pursued by the leadership of the local authority in the province, noting that the escalation of procedures he described as fabricated against a number of activists and media professionals, led by journalist Awad Kashim, who was thrown in prison recently.
The alliance said, in a statement issued by him, that he is following with great concern what is going on in the Hadrami scene, surprising that the local authority issued circulars for the security services that restrict the movement of activists and pursue them against the background of their positions and opinions. The statement revealed information circulating about the existence of a scheme targeting civil and military figures that occupy senior positions in the province, because of their proximity to the alliance and adopting supportive positions for him, in what the alliance considered an attempt to take revenge on through exclusionary decisions or intentional harassment.
The Hadramout tribes have warned the local authority against continuing these policies, which he described as "narrow and dangerous", stressing that such behavior may push the situation into tense and unimaginable paths, and may be met with similar steps by the alliance.
The statement also called on the authority to adhere to neutrality and the equal distance from all parties, and to work according to an institutional and professional approach that guarantees stability and respects pluralism and freedom of opinion, away from the methods of exclusion and marginalization.
