The American forces renewed their strikes against mobile targets belonging to the Houthi militia (classified on the terrorist list), at a time when the latter continues to transfer missile centers and drones from the coasts to the governorates of Al-Jawf, Amran, and Al-Bayda.
A statement from the US Central Command, today, Sunday, stated that between 4 and 5 pm yesterday (Sanaa time), US Central Command (CENTCOM) forces successfully carried out strikes on targets belonging to the Houthis.
US Central Command explained that the air strikes targeted two unmanned unmanned ships (USVs) and three mobile anti-ship cruise missiles (ASCM) north of the city of Hodeidah in southern Yemen.
It was stated that the missiles were prepared to be launched against ships in the Red Sea, before they were successfully destroyed, according to the report.
It noted that it was able to identify these vehicles and missiles in areas controlled by the Houthi militia, before they were launched, and decided to destroy them as they represent an imminent threat to US Navy ships and commercial ships in the region.
It was stated that these measures will protect freedom of navigation and make international waters protected and safer for the US Navy and commercial ships.
On a related level, the Sheba Intelligence agency, which specializes in intelligence information, revealed that the Houthi militia transferred missile centers and drones from the coastal areas and islands to the governorates of Al-Jawf, Amran, and Saada, to avoid being targeted from the Red Sea, reduce the losses it suffers, and seek to maintain its offensive capabilities. .
The agency stated that this decision came during a secret meeting held at the headquarters of the Sixth Military Region in the presence of Iranian experts and senior Houthi military leaders, including Major General Muhammad Al-Ghamari, Chief of Staff, Brigadier General Muhammad Al-Sayyani, Director of the Advanced Command and Control Center, and others such as Brigadier General Abdul Hafeez Al-Hilali and Brigadier General Muhammad Al-Numairi.
The agency explained that the meeting discussed ways to continue their attacks with missiles, drones, and gunboats with the least possible losses, and to transport and store the largest possible number of missiles in Al-Jawf, Amran, and Al-Bayda.
The meeting touched on the continued implementation of “focused strikes” in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and Bab al-Mandab under the supervision of Iranian experts, in addition to the assignment of field commanders to carry out all measures to protect camps, weapons stores, missile launching pads, and drones.
