Unfortunately, there are no signs on the ground that the war in Yemen is close to ending.
The reasons, incentives, and factors that led to the outbreak of war still exist in the absence of a military solution, on the one hand, and the absence of a comprehensive and just political solution, on the other hand.
The exact opposite is true in the Houthis’ aggressive behavior in exchange for the continued state of “legitimate” government inaction.
The Houthis still control the north by brute force and are motivated to seize what remains outside their control in both Marib and Taiz, and the Houthi attacks towards the south, on people and land, are still continuing, not to mention that the Houthis have created an international navigation crisis in the Red Sea, which has led to militarization. This important vital artery.
As for the southern forces, they have been and are still in a state of defensive war that has not stopped since 2015 AD, not only against the Houthis, but also against Al-Qaeda and the wars of chaos and services, and even participated effectively in the liberation of many areas of the north.
There is a well-known rule: If you want peace, prepare for war... or by the popular proverb, “Read Yassin with a cloud in your hand.”
