The Disciplinary Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) revealed that it had imposed many sanctions on clubs and teams, including sanctions on a large number of Arab teams.
In the African Champions League, the Disciplinary Committee convicted the Algerian club, Chabab Belouizdad, of misconduct after its fans used fireworks during a match against Orlando Pirates of South Africa on November 26, 2024, in the first round of the group stage.
The CAF imposed a fine of 10,000 US dollars on Belouizdad’s youth, including 5,000 US dollars suspended, on the condition that no similar incident is observed during the next 12 months in continental competitions.

CAF sanctions in the Confederation
In the African Confederation Cup competition, the Disciplinary Committee convicted the Tunisian club Sfaxien of misconduct after its fans threw flags during a match against Algeria’s CS Constantine on November 27, 2024. A new continental sanctions on Libya
Within the Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 qualifiers, the Continental Disciplinary Committee accused the Libyan Football Association of misconduct following the events that occurred during the Morocco 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers match against Benin in Benghazi on November 18, 2024.
