Attractive hints and Wenger's advice .. Salah reveals the secret of the exceptional season

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, Liverpool's wing, revealed a advice he received from the legendary coach Arsene Wenger, while enjoying his best season with the Reds.
Salah scored 30 goals and made 21 assists in 38 games in all competitions this season.
In an interview with TNT Sports, Salah was asked whether good and great players are distinguished by their ability to resolve matches, and he replied: “I think so. In fact, I got this advice from Arsene Wenger in the past.”
A fundamental question
He revealed: "I asked him the same question, because he had great players in his career."
He added: “The great player told me, regardless of his performance during the match, he remains positioned and waiting for his moment. He always lives the atmosphere of the match.”
He continued: "I put this advice in my consideration a few years ago. The feelings of the players fluctuate, but I do not want to be so.
He continued: "I try to be stable and understand that not every match will be the best for me, but if I stay positioned, only one chance may come to you."
Salah continued his exceptional level this season, where he scored and made 41 scoring contributions in the English Premier League, the last of which was in a 2-0 victory over Manchester City on Sunday.
Salah is the only player in the history of the Premier League, which contributed to 40 goals or more, and more than one season.
It is also only one contribution from the equation of its personal record in the 2017-18 season (42 scoring contributions), with 11 games remaining at the end of the 2024-25 season.
In his interview with Steve McManaman, Salah confirmed that he is considered this best season in his career, not only because of his personal numbers, but also because of his impact on his teammates.
"I think this is my best season, because I make the players around me better. This is what I feel. I know their gameplay. If I look at the numbers of all players, you will find that they are higher than the previous seasons."He continued: “Also, my decisive passes are higher, and this means that I help them a lot.
Various mentality
On the other hand, Mohamed Salah revealed that changing his mentality this season helped him to become a less selfish player, which reflected positively on his performance and the level of his teammates.
When asked about the secret behind his exceptional level this season, Salah said: "I feel very good, in the best physical form, and I try not only to improve my performance, but the players' performance around me too."
He continued: "This is also part of ripening. You cannot win the league alone, so you have to help your colleagues to do well too."
He added: “During the past few months, since the beginning of the season, I focused on studying the way my colleagues play and understand what they love on the field. In the past, when I was younger, I was only focusing on myself.”
Despite his brilliance, Salah's future in Liverpool remains unclear, as his contract expires at the end of the season and an agreement has not been reached to renew it yet.
The same applies to Virgil Van Dyck and Trent Alexander Arnold, none of them signed new contracts yet.
Tips for departure?
However, regardless of his future, Salah hopes that Liverpool fans will remember his contributions to the team, and he said: “I just want them to remember that I gave everything to them, I gave everything to the city, and I was here.”
He went on: "I was not a lazy player. I enjoyed football and presented everything I have, because I know what this city means."
He completed: “They give you love, and build a strong relationship with them because you give everything.
