Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, Liverpool's wing, revealed a advice he received from the legendary coach Arsene Wenger, while enjoying his best season with the Reds.

Salah scored 30 goals and made 21 assists in 38 games in all competitions this season.

In an interview with TNT Sports, Salah was asked whether good and great players are distinguished by their ability to resolve matches, and he replied: “I think so. In fact, I got this advice from Arsene Wenger in the past.”

He revealed: "I asked him the same question, because he had great players in his career."

He added: “The great player told me, regardless of his performance during the match, he remains positioned and waiting for his moment. He always lives the atmosphere of the match.”

He continued: "I put this advice in my consideration a few years ago. The feelings of the players fluctuate, but I do not want to be so.

Salah continued his exceptional level this season, where he scored and made 41 scoring contributions in the English Premier League, the last of which was in a 2-0 victory over Manchester City on Sunday.

Salah is the only player in the history of the Premier League, which contributed to 40 goals or more, and more than one season.

Despite his brilliance, Salah's future in Liverpool remains unclear, as his contract expires at the end of the season and an agreement has not been reached to renew it yet.

The same applies to Virgil Van Dyck and Trent Alexander Arnold, none of them signed new contracts yet.
