While the Israeli Prisoners' Families Association said: Benjamin Netanyahu's government must now agree to the proposed deal with the help of mediators, holding the Israeli government responsible for the death of their relatives in the Gaza Strip.
The nephew of one of the prisoners whose bodies were returned from Gaza, Shahar Mor, told the Israeli Channel 12: “The hands of the bloody government are stained with blood. They (government members) could have saved him (his uncle) before or not spoiled the hostage deal on its last day,” adding. “My government was supposed to protect my uncle. It wasted all possibilities,” and his uncle was considered a victim of Netanyahu remaining at the head of the government.
The Israeli army announced today that the bodies of 6 prisoners were found in the Gaza Strip during an operation carried out in conjunction with internal intelligence, confirming the recovery of the bodies of 5 prisoners whose deaths had previously been announced during the past months: Alex Dansig, Chaim Peri, Yagiv Bushtab, and Yoram Metzger. The occupation army claimed that the success of the operation in recovering the bodies of the prisoners was due to accurate information from the Shin Bet, the intelligence units, and the Directorate of Kidnapped Persons in the Intelligence Department, which resulted in locating the bodies in the Khan Yunis area.
