He reopened a border road between Egypt and Israel, near the Gaza Strip, on the occasion of the Jewish Easter, in a similar measure to organize tourist tours in dangerous areas on the border with Syria and Lebanon, according to the newspaper "Yediot Aharonot".

The Hebrew newspaper showed that this partially closed border road since 2011, and completely since the beginning of the war on Gaza, is the highway No. 10, one of the most beautiful and most dangerous roads in Israel, according to its description.

The border road dates back to life for the first time, and a specific section of it will be opened, near the Egyptian border, in front of the travelers for a short period.

In this context, the head of the RAM Nigev border settlement, Aran Doreon, said that the 10 Highway is usually classified as a "dangerous road" for security reasons.

Since the attack on the bus that was on its way to Eilat, in 2011, most of the road, which extends along the Egyptian border in front of the civil traffic, has been closed, and only the security forces use it. 

According to Yedioth Ahronoth, this is a relatively old road, with one long lane, and extends at a distance of 182 km of landscape, which was paved in the early eighties after the evacuation of Sinai as part of the peace agreement with Egypt. 

The road, which is zigzaging across the heights and sharp depressions in mountains, is located next to the surrounding fence that was built in the previous decade, until the outbreak of the war after October 7.

According to the newspaper, the Israeli army will strengthen its forces along the way to enable settlers to use it, as you can see the surrounding fence, the huge concrete blocks next to it, and behind it the guard sites of the Egyptian army stand and the scenic landscapes of the Sinai desert. 

On the left of the road, the Negev desert with many wildlife signs, and on the hills and peaks along the road, improvised security control points managed by the Israeli army soldiers.
