Angry protests in Hadramout due to the continuous interruptions of electricity

The city of Mukalla, the Hadramout Governorate Center, witnessed angry protests organized by angry youths in protest against the continuous collapse in the service of electricity and repeated interruptions that exceeded 15 hours a day, in conjunction with a severe heat wave hitting the city.
Local sources said that the protesters closed a number of main streets in the city and ignited the tires, causing partial paralysis of traffic after Sunday, amid a state of escalating popular resentment.
The source pointed out that the protesters demanded the local authorities to quickly intervene to address the aggravating electricity crisis for more than three months, without taking any practical steps or radical solutions to alleviate the suffering of citizens.
These protests come at a time when Mukalla witnesses a very high temperature that exceeded forty degrees Celsius, which exacerbated the suffering of the population, especially with the deterioration of basic services, especially electricity, in the absence of any indicators of nearby solutions.
