Al-Qaeda targets military vehicles in Abyan with explosive devices

Two military vehicles survived an explosion attempt by Al-Qaeda terrorist members in Abyan Governorate, today, Tuesday.
The Abyan Governorate Police reported that two explosive devices exploded after the two cars belonging to the Abyan axis and the 8th Sa’iqa Brigade passed through a remote area in the Abyan District.
The police explained that the accident did not result in human casualties or material damage.
The police indicated that investigations are underway to determine the identity of the perpetrator of the attack, who bears fingerprints of the Al-Qaeda terrorist organization.
