The project said in a press release that, on Tuesday, he carried out a destruction and detonation of 5,173 diverse pieces of unexploded munitions from the war remnants in the Duvis area of ​​Abyan Governorate.

The statement added that the operation carried out by the first team for the private tasks of the “Mass” project included 139 shells, 4,492 different rounds, 102 supernatural arrows, 371 varies, in addition to 6 anti -tank mines, 17 others against individuals, 46 hand grenades.

It is noteworthy that this process is the third during May, when the project had previously carried out two similar operations, the first included the destruction of 4,146 pieces of unexploded war in the Duvis area, in Abyan Governorate, and the second was destroyed by 600 mines, an explosive explosive device, in the area of ​​“Gold” in the Ain district, east of Shabwa.

It is also the eleventh process of its kind since the beginning of the year 2025, after six operations in Abyan, in which a total of 13,808 non -explosive materials destroyed, and two similar operations in the Bab al -Mandab area in Taiz Governorate, in which 2,812 pieces of war waste were destroyed, and a single operation in Shabwa in which 600 fatal materials were destroyed, in addition to a ten -year operation that included the destruction of quantities Understanding mines and shells in the Roguan district of Marib Governorate.
