The Yemeni Houthi group launches repeated missile attacks on Israel, considering this "in response to Israel's attack on the Gaza Strip." It pledged its missile attacks on Israel, "As long as Tel Aviv continues the war of extermination on the Strip."
It is reported that the United States carried out a punitive bombing campaign against the Houthis earlier this month, saying that the Houthis pledged to stop the ships. This agreement did not include any attacks on Israel.
