The suffering of the residents of Aden: Between mobilization and the reality of life

The residents of Aden today suffered from the two million mobilization, which was called by the Southern Workers' Syndicates this morning, February 24, 2025 AD, in the Square of offers in Khurmemers. This great gathering, during which the entrances to the coast were closed from all sides, led to a tremendous traffic, which forced many citizens to walk on foot to reach their work. Such demonstrations raise many questions about their results and their actual impact on people's daily lives.
The outputs that this million came out were largely expected. While the aim of the grouping was to communicate the demands of workers and citizens to the concerned authorities, the direct impact on people's lives was negative. The traffic stopped, and the suffering of citizens who are already faced with suffocating economic difficulties. In recent years, Aden has witnessed the repercussions of the economic crisis, which made the daily life of citizens more difficult.
It is important to ask: What are the fruits of the citizen on reality from such million? Are their demands fulfilled? Did they pay attention to their suffering? Unfortunately, the answer to these questions seems not encouraging. The union leaders, which stress the need for protest and demonstration, may be far from the reality of the citizen. Failure to appreciate the difficulty of the situation makes it difficult for them to be a voice for the citizens who have reached despair.
We do not need more million, as we have lived in the time of the million for more than two decades, especially during the peaceful revolution of the movement. These demonstrations were aimed at achieving legitimate rights, but it seems that the road we take now does not pay off. People need actual solutions, into concrete steps that contribute to improving the quality of their lives, and not to more slogans and speeches.
We have to stop and think about how to change. Workers unions may re -evaluate their strategies, and search for more effective ways to express workers' demands and citizens. It is important that there are direct dialogue channels with the government and the concerned authorities, instead of relying on demonstrations that may lead to more tension.
In the end, we need to be a voice for citizens, and work together to find real solutions to their problems. We must go beyond slogans and demonstrations, and look for effective ways to achieve people's demands and improve their lives. Change requires serious work and dedication, and not just gatherings that may lead to more suffering. We have to remember that the citizen is the focus of all efforts, and that his suffering must be at the heart of any plan or strategy that we put for the future.
