The National Center of Meteorology in Yemen expects scattered rain to fall on parts of the eastern and southwestern coasts and the Socotra Archipelago, with moderate winds that are sometimes active on the eastern coasts and the Socotra Archipelago.
He also indicated relatively clear and cool weather during the night and early morning, turning partly cloudy during the day, with scattered, thundery rain falling sometimes during the noon and evening periods on parts of the highlands of the governorates of (Al-Mahra, Hadhramaut, Shabwa, Lahj, Taiz, Al-Dhale’, and Ibb). Scattered rains in parts of the governorates of (Raymah, Hajjah, Al Mahwit) and the highlands of the Tihama Plain.
He pointed out that the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with the possibility of scattered rain on parts of the eastern and southwestern coasts and the Socotra Archipelago. Winds are moderate and sometimes active on the eastern coasts and the Socotra Archipelago.
The weather forecast is fair to partly cloudy with flowing cumulus clouds and scattered rain, sometimes accompanied by thunder, in parts of the deserts of the governorates (Al-Mahra, Hadhramaut, and Shabwa), and moderate-speed winds that are active at times, stirring up dust and sand.
Meteorology warned citizens against being in the depths of valleys and flood paths and against thunderstorms during rainfall.
He also warned vehicle drivers on mountain roads of reduced horizontal visibility due to rain and heavy low clouds, and of crossing ground bridges during torrential rains.
