In a dangerous step and taking advantage of the government’s statements to receive international organizations in Aden as a temporary capital, open their offices, and move from Sana’a, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Sana’a renewed the contract with Stallion Company (an intermediary security company) to protect the organization’s headquarters in Sana’a.
As well as contracting to protect the organization’s headquarters in Aden and the rest of the liberated areas.
On this basis, the security companies affiliated with the parent company, Stylon, were notified of taking over the organization’s headquarters in Aden under pressure from the security apparatus in Sana’a. These companies are:
_Al-Arish Company, a company headquartered in Sana'a, is owned by Ihab Ismail Ali Muharram and managed in Aden by Muhammad Al-Jahafi.
_Ejaz Company, headed by Muhammad Al-Ezzi, who is from Taiz Governorate, guards the envoy’s office and residence.
_Stylon Company is owned by a person with a tax title.
Its headquarters are in Sanaa and the name of the company’s general manager is Barash Ahmed Qaid Barkan
It is managed in Aden by Abdul-Qawi Al-Muflahi, a retired security colonel.
The security apparatus in Sana'a seeks to control the security of the UN organizations in Aden by imposing these companies. They have largely succeeded in their plan and were able to obtain most of the sites in the security square in which all the UN organizations in Aden are located
Security was able to stop their plan at the beginning of 2023
They are now trying to re-implement the plan by excluding the only southern company in Aden so that they can fully control and protect 17 international organizations in Aden
If this dangerous step is implemented, this means handing over the security and protection of international, regional, local and other organizations to the Houthi national security. This calls for the arrival of national security leaders and officers from Sanaa to Aden and the transfer of their devices under the names of security protection companies and the exclusion and exclusion of leaders, officers and members of many of the southern resistance. Affiliated with local protection companies.
It is worth noting that the local company that is to be excluded, along with its employees, is a southern company, which before the war was guarding the organization’s headquarters and continued and won the tender in 2017 AD. It is the only southern company that remained after the exclusion of more than six southern security companies and the replacement and imposition of Yemeni companies in their place. From Sana'a, belonging to Stylon and its sisters.
Also, the employees of this Southern Protection Company, which is the Falcon Company, which is owned and managed by Colonel Ali Al-Arji, a retired officer of the Ministry of Interior, was employed there by cadres and sons of the Southern Resistance, most of whom are from the Diplomatic Quarter and neighboring neighborhoods in Khormaksar. These measures are considered a violation, blatant interference, and an infringement on the powers Security services in Aden.
It was stated that Stallion Company had previously failed to cover the security of the envoy’s office and was unable to deliver guard salaries after it plundered the allocations and was expelled in 2022 by the envoy’s office, and the employees’ rights are still suspended to this day.
Also, their success in this plan means supplying the militia’s treasury with millions of hard currency through the gains that these companies will obtain.
Noting that these three companies are managed from Sanaa
We hope that the matter will be addressed and intervened urgently and that the United Nations Security and Safety Office in Aden will be informed of the circular to keep the security situation as it is and not raise any problems in the security square in which the organization’s headquarters is located in order to maintain calm and security stability.
