A citizen was killed by a Houthi mine explosion in Al -Jouf

A citizen was killed in Al -Jouf Governorate; After the explosion of a ground mine, the Houthi militia planted inside a house in the Al -Muhshama area, in the district of Khab and Al -Sha`f, according to tribal sources.
The sources pointed out that the citizen, "Hadi Hadi Swaei Al -Mahshami," immediately died by the explosion that occurred while he was at home, and which the militia had turned it into a deadly trap by installing an explosive device inside it.
This comes in conjunction with the escalation of human losses caused by Houthi mines, which represents one of the most dangerous threats to the lives of civilians in Yemen, especially in the liberated provinces and areas of contact.
Human rights reports had revealed the death and injury of about 10,000 citizens as a result of the mines planted by the Houthi militia in Yemen within ten years.
The provinces of Al -Jouf, Taiz, Al -Bayda, Al -Hodeidah and Ma'rib are among the most affected areas of mines, as the "pores" project has documented for mines more than 500 thousand mines and an explosive device that has been dismantled since the start of its operations in mid -2018.
Estimates indicate that there are two million drains planted by the Houthi militia randomly, including within the homes of civilians, schools and public roads, according to Yemeni official statements.
